Assenta Property Consulting (APC) has organised a training session for its professional valuers. The essence of the session was to refresh them on the various modern methods of valuation often employed in their calculations; namely Depreciated Replacement Cost (DRC), Comparative, Investment and Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) methods.

In his welcome address, the Group CEO, Mr Yaw Osei-Wusu Peprah (MRICS, MGhIS) admonished the staff to take advantage of such sessions as it serves as a platform to equip them to become globally competitive. He encouraged them to continue to give off their best to ensure that the company continues to remain a household name in Ghana and beyond.

The day’s activities had Mr. Kwaku Darkwa (MRICS, MGhIS), Assistant Director – Group Operations, taking the professionals through the Investment and DCF methods whilst the Group CEO – Mr. Yaw Peprah presented on the DRC and Comparative Methods. The over 20 professionals present were later divided into teams and tasked with simulations after which they presented their findings.
